Are your staff due for a retake? Nemo First Aid also offers Training and Assessing for Lifeguards at your pool.
Including National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches, NRASTC & NRASTC LIGHT.
Along with pool safety courses including ER Pool, delivered on site for your convenience.
Emergency Response Pool
Our ER Pool courses are regulated and awarded through the RLSS. The ER Pool course is a rescue award, designed for individuals that have a responsibility to respond to a swimming pool in the event of an emergency.
Is this qualification suitable for my place of work?
ER Pool is designed for small pools that are no greater than 1.5m in depth. This qualification helps staff where there is no direct supervision on the pool. For swimming pools that require direct supervision, it is recommended at he RLSS UK NPLQ is used.
Who Can Complete ER Pool?
Any Staff employed at the venue, receptionist, chefs, housekeeping, gym staff, duty managers.
What are the Prerequisite for the course?
•Swim 25m front and back
•Surface dive, to the deepest part of the pool.
•Climb out, no help by means of steps or ladders.
•Must be 16+ years of age..
What does the course involve?
ER Pool is a 2 day course that gives your employees knowledge and practical training to rescue a casualty in event of being alerted to a emergency. Recovering casualties to poolside. Including training in vital first aid, CPR and AED's.
How much does an ER Pool course cost and how many staff can I put on the course?
£1200 for delivery of this course at your place of work.
Maximum of 12 candidates per course.
100% attendance & completion of all assessments required.
How long does the qualification last?
ER Pool Qualification is valid for 2 years following successful completion of the course.
